We are very pleased to welcome you to Market Weighton Infant school. We hope that you will find this website interesting and informative and that it will give you some insight into life at our school. We are a happy and friendly school of 217 children (aged from age 3 to 7) and 43 members of staff. We offer a warm and caring environment which enables children to feel safe and secure as they grow, learn and develop.The first years in school are the most important and can shape children's attitudes to learning. We hope by the time the children leave us they will have developed a good sense of self worth and a stimulated mind, so that they are happy and motivated as they continue on their journey through education. Hence our school motto "First Steps to Tomorrow's World".
